Verónica Anadón Martínez is currently a PhD researcher student at CITCEA-UPC, focusing on the "FuChar - Grid and Charging Infrastructure of the Future" project since July 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Renewable Energy Engineer at Cefiner and Factor Energia, where responsibilities encompassed designing photovoltaic plants for self-consumption, preparing project documentation, conducting energy audits, and optimizing energy management for clients. Verónica's career began with an internship at Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona, supporting renewable energy initiatives, and includes prior roles at Schneider Electric and within organizing teams at BC TOURS & SHIPPING and Forum EEBE. Educational qualifications from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya span a Doctor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, postgraduate studies in Electric Vehicles, and master's degrees in Energy Engineering with a focus on Renewable Energy, alongside research experiences at Technische Universität Berlin.

CITCEA-UPC is a research and innovation centre in the area of electrical engineering and industrial electronics. Belongs to the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, BarcelonaTech, and is part of the TECNIO network from ACCIO, Generalitat de Catalunya and is recognized by AGAUR, Generalitat de Catalunya, as a Research Group. It was founded in 2001. Its capabilities range from power electronics-based equipment for power generation, transportation, distribution and use of electrical energy to energy efficiency, energy management systems using optimization techniques, machine learning and artificial intelligence. CITCEA-UPC also offers specialized training services for professionals in their field of competence.
