James Beit

James Beit is an experienced professional in bank regulation with a strong background in regulatory capital. They held the position of Managing Director at JP Morgan Chase from 2008 to 2022, managing regulatory capital calculations and policy interpretations. Currently, Beit serves as a Managing Director at Citi, overseeing the Regulatory Capital Policy Group. They also contributed to the Basel Committee Accounting Task Force from 1999 to 2003 and worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as an Examining Officer from 1990 to 2006. James earned an MBA in finance from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Northwestern University.
