John Hillman is a Managing Director and Head of ICG Client Strategy and Analytics. His group is responsible for the systems, metrics, and strategies used to manage ICG businesses by client.
The group produces ICG's client metrics including revenues, returns, capital allocation and wallet shares, as well as manages ICG's "golden-source" of client data - Backbone. The group runs ICG's annual Voice of Client Surveys and tracks our coverage effectiveness by client. Finally, the group is responsible for the execution of ICG's Client Experience initiatives: notably the 2-Day Onboarding and Credit Redesign processes.
Prior to joining Citi, John was a Partner at Perella Weinberg. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley where he was responsible for client and product marketing across the firm’s institutional businesses. Before joining Morgan Stanley, he was at Citigroup, where he was a Director of Global Marketing.
John has an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a BA in Mathematics from St. Olaf College.
