Luis Eduardo de la Cerda

Luis Eduardo de la Cerda, CFA, CAIA, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in the investment and treasury sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Markets Treasury Mexico at Citi since November 2019, Luis has held multiple leadership roles, including Interim Head of Markets Treasury for LATAM excluding Brazil and Director positions focusing on investment management and treasury operations. Prior to Citi, Luis was the Chief Investment Officer at Afore SURA and held trading and portfolio management positions at ING and ING Investment Management. Academically, Luis holds an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a charterholder of both the CAIA and CFA designations, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
