Maren Stachnik

Maren Stachnik is an experienced professional in the energy trading sector, currently serving as Vice President of Gas, Power and Emissions Trading at Citi since August 2020, following roles as Associate and Graduate Associate in the same department. Previously, Maren worked as a Summer Associate in Markets and Securities Services at Citi and as a Research Analyst at Wood Mackenzie, focusing on upstream research and natural gas supply modeling for Canada. Maren also contributed as a researcher for the Canadian delegation at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, co-authoring the 6th Edition APEC Energy Demand and Supply Outlook. Maren holds an MBA in Finance from IE Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business from the Haskayne School of Business, complemented by study at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
