Sameer Sapre is an experienced Senior Risk Leader currently serving as the Head of MRM Governance for the Middle East and Israel. With a strong background in Counterparty Credit risk and Market Risk functions, Sameer has held key roles at prestigious institutions including Citi, MUFG, and HSBC. Sameer’s expertise encompasses regulatory engagement, remediation, governance, and project management. They founded Saigon Limited, providing risk consultancy and advisory services to banks and financial institutions. Sameer holds a Master's Degree in Banking and Financial Services from the National Institute of Bank Management and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from IPS Academy, Indore.
