Samuel Obonna is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as AVP/Cyber Risk Senior Analyst at Citi since October 2024. Prior to this role, Samuel worked as a Senior Associate Information Security Analyst at Harrison Street from April 2022 to October 2024 and held positions at Discover Financial Services from November 2019 to April 2022, including Information Security Analyst and Associate Information Security Analyst. Earlier in their career, Samuel was an Information Security Analyst specializing in Governance, Risk, and Compliance at First LeaderSoft from January 2016 to November 2019. Samuel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from United States International University - Africa, which was obtained between 2012 and 2015, and also attended Covenant University from 2009 to 2012.
