Triona O'Byrne

Triona O'Byrne is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in product approval, governance, and business management within major financial institutions. Currently serving as Director and Product Approval and Governance Implementation Lead at Citi since August 2015, Triona focuses on designing and implementing comprehensive product delivery and risk assessment processes across the organization. Previously, Triona worked as a Business Manager for the Asia and EMEA Head of Digital Banking at Citi, overseeing operations that serve over 15 million customers. Prior to this, Triona held the position of Executive Director at UBS International New York, managing wealth management for high net worth clients globally. Triona’s career began at Citibank N.A. & Smith Barney, where various roles included establishing branches and launching critical systems for compliance and risk management. Triona holds a Bachelor's degree in International Marketing from Dublin City University.
