Vasil Katsarski

Vasil Katsarski is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in mainframe systems and infrastructure management. Currently serving as an Infrastructure Senior Manager at Citi since August 2015, Vasil specializes in the installation, configuration, and customization of IBM z/VM and KVM. Additionally, Vasil manages WebSphere on z/OS, overseeing application deployments and backend interfacing. Prior to Citi, Vasil worked at IBM from November 2009 to July 2015 as a z/OS System Programmer, where responsibilities included software refresh, update tasks, and mainframe support. Vasil began the career with internships focused on electronics and equipment repair, complementing a Master's degree in IT Specialist, Software Technologies from the University of Plovdiv.
