Mike Platts

Mike Platts, CISSP CISM, serves as the IT Security Manager and Information Security and Technology Manager at Citizen since September 2019. With extensive experience in information security management, Mike has been with WM Housing Group since July 2007, where responsibilities include auditing, improving the Information Security Management System (ISMS), and presenting to senior stakeholders. Mike also leads the design and implementation of a Group-wide ISMS based on ISO 27000 standards and chairs a cross-department security forum to integrate information security into organizational practices. Prior experience includes a role as Senior IT Engineer at Evesham Technology from 1991 to 2007. Educational qualifications include CISM from ISACA, CiSMP from BCS, and a BSc from The Open University.
