Koen van Den Berge

Koen van den Berge has accumulated extensive experience in the hospitality industry with a focus on information technology. Koen served as the Head of Hotel Operations Systems at citizenM hotels, where they led a team in creating a cohesive hotel tech ecosystem. Prior to this, they worked as an Information Technology Consultant, assisting organizations in implementing hardware and software solutions for optimal efficiency. Koen's career also includes roles at AccorHotels, Mӧvenpick Hotels & Resorts, and Golden Tulip Hospitality Group, where they held positions such as Project Manager, Director of IT, and IT Manager.

Koen van den Berge attended Anna van Rijn College in Nieuwegein, where they completed their Vbo-Mavo degree in subjects like English, Physics, Economics, History, and Biology from 1995 to 1996. Koen then went on to Cals College in Nieuwegein from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Middelbare School (MAVO-D) degree in English, Physics, Economics, Mathematics, and Information Technology. Koen furthered their education at ICT Academie in Utrecht from 1999 to 2005, studying Information Technology, English, Physics, Economics, and Mathematics.
