Marion Schonkeren (nee Carpentier) has held various leadership roles in the hospitality industry over the years. Marion started their career as an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Danesfield House Hotel and progressed to roles such as Restaurant Manager at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons. Their experience includes Deputy General Manager at Chateau d’Esclimont, Operations Director positions at Ladurée Paris and Ping Pong Dim Sum, and Group Food & Drink Director at Four Corners Hospitality Group. Marion also directed food & beverage strategy as Global Food & Drink Director at L+R Hotels, and currently serves as the Director of Hotel Operations - Europe at citizenM hotels. Throughout their career, Marion has demonstrated expertise in driving commercial success, directing operations, and maximizing returns in various hospitality settings.

Marion Schonkeren (nee Carpentier) completed their Brevet de Technicien Superieur (B.T.S) in Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management at Ecole hoteliere de Poligny in 1998. Marion later pursued a Master's degree in Business Management, Finance, Commercial, and Operations at EM Strasbourg Business School from 2001 to 2003.
