Chris Northwood is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Senior Developer at Citizens Advice and a Council Member for Ancoats & Beswick with Manchester City Council, Chris also holds the position of Deputy Leader of the Opposition for the Liberal Democrat group. Previously, Chris was the Head of Development at Culture Shift, where leadership in product evolution contributed to significant growth, and also served as a Product Scaling Consultant. A former Senior Research Technologist at the BBC, Chris has a proven track record of transforming research concepts into viable products while fostering agile practices. With a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Computer Science, Chris has developed a strong foundation in engineering and product development across various reputable organizations.
