Louise Stonington is a dedicated member of Citizens Climate Lobby since January 2011, actively engaging in non-partisan efforts to raise awareness about climate change and promote a transition to a clean energy economy. In addition to serving as a member, Louise has held the position of Coordinator for Washington State, focusing on the advocacy for a national carbon tax with dividends for households to foster economic growth and environmental sustainability. Prior experience includes teaching at Seattle Public Schools from 1996 to 2008 and practicing as an attorney from 1973 to 1978. Louise holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Boston University School of Law and two Bachelor's degrees in Philosophy from Pomona College.
