Lynn Birnbaum Meyer

Lynn Birnbaum Meyer is an experienced clinical psychologist with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a volunteer group leader and NY State co-coordinator for Citizens' Climate Lobby since March 2014, Lynn has a longstanding commitment to advocacy and community engagement. As a self-employed clinical psychologist since 1982, practice includes individual, couple, and family therapy. Previous roles include Communications Coordinator at White Roof Project and Supervisor of School Psychologists at the NYC Department of Education, where supervision covered 56 schools. Lynn spent 28 years as a School Psychologist in NYC Department of Education, primarily in districts 23 and 28. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Clinical/School Psychology from Hofstra University and a BA in Political Science and Government from Oberlin College.
