Dean Wood

Dean Wood has over 30 years of work experience. Dean began their career in 1989 as a SGT/E5 in the Army National Guard. In 1994, they moved to Norfolk Southern where they worked as a Mechanical Worker. In 1996, they joined Citizens Telephone Cooperative Inc. as a Central Office Tech. Finally, in 2019, they joined Citizens as a WAN Tech.

Dean Wood has an education history that spans from 1991 to 2017. In 1991, they obtained an Associate's degree in Electronics from ECPI. In 2000, they obtained a Certificate in EWSD Basic Subscriber Administrator (Class 5 Switch Training) from Siemens. In 2003, they obtained a Certification in CCNA from Cisco. In 2013, they obtained a Certificate in FTTx Outside Plant Design from Light Brigade and a Certification in B6 Copper Access Specialist from Calix. In 2014, they obtained a Certification in E7 GPON Specialist in Fiber Optic GPON Equipment from Calix and a Certification in Ehernet Access Network Specialist from Calix. In 2015, they obtained a Certificate in C15 Business Hosted Solutions from Genband, a Certification in E7 Active Ethernet Certification from Calix, and a Certificate in E7 Copper Access Specialist from Calix. In 2016, they obtained a Certificate in EAN Design & Engineering Best Practices Certified Professional Exam from Calix and a Certificate in C15 Softs-witch Maintenance Class from Genband. Finally, in 2017, they obtained a Certificate in E7 GPON Buisiness Solutions from Calix, a Certificate in Information Technology from Global Knowledge, and a Certificate in E7 GPON Optical Monitoring and Trouble Shooting from Calix Networks Acadamy. Dean also holds additional certifications from Calix, including AXOS E7-2 ESSENTIALS ConneXions 2018, E7 Active Ethernet Specialist, E7 Copper Access Specialist, and Home Wi-Fi Specialist.
