Julie Bateman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital sales and transformation within the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Head of Digital Sales and Virtual Customer Service at Citizens since July 2022, Julie previously held senior leadership roles at Truist, where responsibilities included directing enterprise digital capabilities and leading corporate-wide initiatives in Intelligent Automation and Open Banking. Prior to Truist, Julie worked at BB&T for over 17 years, overseeing digital strategy and championing digital transformation initiatives across various departments. Julie's career also includes positions at FGI Research & Analytics and RTI International, complemented by advanced degrees in Sociology from East Carolina University and Wake Forest University.
