Stuart McPhail

Stuart McPhail is a highly experienced legal professional specializing in campaign finance reform and political ethics. Currently serving as the Director of Campaign Finance Litigation and Litigation Counsel at Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) since August 2015, McPhail has previously held positions as an Associate Attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and as a Law Clerk with the US Courts. Earlier experience includes working as an Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. McPhail earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Columbia Law School and holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland.
