Andrew Marcus

Andrew Marcus is the Director of Learning Design at Citizen Schools. Prior to this, they were the Director of Creative Programs at ARCKBoston -Art Resource Collaborative for Kids from September 2020 to December 2021. Before that, they were Chief Academic Officer at NuVu from October 2012 to April 2020.

Marcus began their career as an architect, working at Next Phase Studios from January 2006 to June 2011. Andrew then became a Fulbright Scholar at the U.S. Department of State from August 2004 to October 2005. After that, they were an Operations Manager at Andover Brokerage Corp from November 1999 to September 2000. Finally, they were an Interim Educational Technology Manager and Teacher at The Brearley School from August 1998 to June 1999.

Andrew Marcus started their educational career by studying English literature and biology at Oberlin College and then went on to get their Master of Architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Andrew also has various certifications from different organizations, such as the Boston After School & Beyond, Green Business Certification, Inc., and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
