Jeffrey Kovacs

Jeff Kovacs currently serves as President and Accounting and Auditing Partner at Citrin Cooperman & Company, LLP, following the acquisition of Berdon LLP in February 2023. Prior roles include Regional Attest Practice Leader and Assurance Partner at Berdon LLP, where Kovacs specialized in the technology and life sciences sectors and led audit innovation and quality management efforts. With significant experience supporting early to mature-stage companies in various industries, including SaaS and biotech, Kovacs also has a strong background in mentoring and developing professional staff. Prior to Berdon, positions included Assurance Partner at Cohen & Company, BDO USA, LLP, EisnerAmper LLP, GBQ Partners, and Schneider Downs, where Kovacs contributed to technical quality and business consulting initiatives. Jeff Kovacs holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Penn State University.
