Mike Bornhorst

Mike Bornhorst's work experience includes various leadership roles in different companies. Mike started as a General Manager and Sales Manager at ADT Security Services, where they achieved significant growth and profitability. Mike then became an Area General Manager and eventually a Group General Manager, overseeing multi-state operations and reporting to the head of a $1 billion region.

After leaving ADT, Bornhorst joined Culligan International as a Senior Vice President and later as an Executive Vice President, where they led a $300 million North American business with consumer and commercial divisions. Mike also played a key role in transforming the Company-Owned Division from decline to double-digit growth.

Bornhorst then served as the CEO of DirectBuy, a membership buying club specializing in furniture and home improvement items. Under their leadership, the company generated approximately $60 million in revenue and successfully operated over 100 locations in the US and Canada.

In 2017, they started their own consulting business, KM Consulting, as an Independent Business Owner.

Currently, Bornhorst holds senior positions at Citrin, where they are a Partner and President, and Citrin Holdings LLC, where they serve as a member of the Board of Directors, providing strategic advice and support for the company's growth potential in the valet and automotive hospitality management business.

Mike Bornhorst earned their BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Xavier University, where they attended from 1994 to 1998. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from 2006 to 2009.
