Kent Lighthall

Kent Lighthall has extensive experience in data and analytics, currently serving as the Director of Data & Analytics for the City and County of Denver since January 2013. In this role, Kent leads the enterprise-wide data governance roadmap, working with 55 agencies and over 10,000 employees to create scalable, user-friendly data solutions. Previous positions include Data & Analytics Manager, where Kent implemented a cloud data hub, and Accounts Payable Manager, overseeing a team that processed over 120,000 payments annually. Kent also has experience as a Fiscal Administrator and an Associate Process Improvement Analyst. Prior to the City and County of Denver, Kent worked at TSA as a Transportation Security Officer, focusing on training and threat awareness. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Creighton University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver.
