Stephanie Karayannis Adams

Stephanie Karayannis Adams is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in municipal budgeting and management. Currently serving as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Budget and Management Director for the City and County of Denver since 1999, Stephanie has successfully supervised teams of budget analysts, managed performance initiatives, and facilitated the development of strategic frameworks and citizen engagement processes. Previous roles include managing federal HUD compliance and contracts, as well as being selected as a Denver Urban Fellow to enhance city accountability systems. Prior experience as a Budget Analyst for the City of Columbus, Ohio, involved overseeing operating budgets and conducting fiscal reviews. Stephanie holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from The Ohio State University, along with dual Bachelor's degrees in Public Relations and Journalism from Ohio University.
