Theresa Marchetta is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in both public and media sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Communications and Marketing for the Office of Human Resources at the City and County of Denver since August 2018, Theresa also held the position of Chief Communications Officer, where strategic oversight and implementation of communications for the City and Mayor Michael B. Hancock were key responsibilities. With a prior role as Director of Strategic Communications and Media Policy at Denver7, Theresa distinguished herself as an award-winning news anchor and investigative reporter. Additionally, Theresa has contributed to academia as an adjunct professor of news writing at Johnson & Wales University. Theresa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from UC San Diego.
