Omar Solis

Omar Solis is a Senior Data Engineer currently working with the Mayor's Office of Innovation at the City and County of San Francisco since June 2024. Prior to this, Omar served as a Founding Engineer at Pump.co and Nucleus (YC S22), where responsibilities included full stack engineering for a Kubernetes developer platform. Omar's experience also includes a role as a Software Engineer at Alto Pharmacy, focusing on backend engineering and product project implementation, as well as significant positions at BlackRock and Charles Schwab, where Omar specialized in data engineering and developed data pipelines. Early career experience includes developing an Android app at Walmart Global eCommerce. Omar holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University, earned in 2018.
