Ariana Portalatin

Ariana Portalatin is a seasoned multimedia journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles across various organizations. Currently serving as an Assistant Editor and Reporter at Becker's Healthcare since May 2021, Ariana has also contributed as a Documenter at City Bureau since October 2020. Previously, roles included TEFL Volunteer for the Peace Corps, Research Assistant at Chicago Magazine, Podcast Producer at Michael Moody Fitness, and Web Editor/Staff Writer for Echo Magazine. Notably, Ariana was an Author Assistant for a major book project at Hachette Book Group and held multiple editorial positions at The Columbia Chronicle, where leadership included Editor In Chief. A contributing writer for the Chicago Sun-Times during the 2019 election night coverage, Ariana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Journalism from Columbia College Chicago.
