Shannon Nys

Shannon Nys, CPA, MRE, currently serves as the Finance & Accounting Director at City First Enterprises since July 2022, following a decade of significant experience in tax management at Lerner Enterprises, where roles included Senior Tax Manager and Tax Manager. In these positions, Shannon oversaw domestic income tax compliance for over 200 entities, coordinating a team of tax associates. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Reznick Group, progressing from Tax Intern to Senior Tax Associate, where responsibilities involved managing tax engagements and training staff accountants. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Professional Services with a focus on Real Estate from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s in Accounting and General Business from the University of Maryland. Additionally, Shannon holds an inactive real estate salesperson license from the Long & Foster Real Estate Class.
