Shayne Murphy

Shayne Murphy is a highly experienced sports professional currently serving as the Men's National Team Football Scientist for the Scottish Football Association and as a Performance Consultant for City Football Group, both since 2020. Additionally, Shayne is the Managing Director of SDM Performance and has held a lecturing position at Setanta College until January 2024. Previous roles include U21 Lead Sport Scientist and Strength & Conditioning Coach at Manchester City Football Club from 2013 to 2019, U21 Lead Sport Scientist for the Football Association of Wales, and various positions at Liverpool Football Club and Blackburn Rovers Football Club. Shayne holds a Master of Science in Sport Science from the University of Central Lancashire and a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise from the University of Limerick.
