Mark Pike

Executive Designated Safeguarding Lead at CITY GATEWAY

Mark Pike has dedicated their career to education and training, with a particular focus on safeguarding. Mark began their career in 1995 as Franchise Manager at Dunstable College. In 1998, they became Health and Safety Manager at the Training & Enterprise Council. Mark then spent three years as Further Education Manager at the Learning & Skills Council before taking on the role of Business, Development & Training Manager at Ridgemond Training Ltd. In 2012, Pike became CEO of Develop, and they remained in that position until 2021. Mark is currently Executive Designated Safeguarding Lead at CITY GATEWAY.

Mark Pike completed a postgraduate diploma in business management at the University of Hertfordshire. Mark also attended Bedford College and Bedford Modern School.
