Peter Szabó has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Peter began their career as a Commis Waiter at Gordon Ramsay Holdings in 2013. In 2014, they completed a two-month summer internship as a Research Analyst at Horwath HTL Hungary and Russia, where they gained exposure to development and financial audit projects in Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS states.
Following their internship, Peter worked as a Freelance Consultant for Horwath HTL's Budapest office, contributing to feasibility and market studies in the Hotel, Tourism, and Leisure markets of Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS states. In 2015, they embarked on a six-month administrative internship as a Junior Project Manager in the Catering and Delivery division of M. H. Alshaya Co.
Subsequently, Peter joined HVS Hodges Ward Elliott in 2016, initially as an Analyst, then as an Associate, and later as a Senior Associate. HVS Hodges Ward Elliott focuses on the sale and financing of hotels and resorts within the EMEA region. Peter worked on successful transactions in major European markets and gained expertise in disposition advisory services.
Most recently, they joined City ID in 2021 as an Acquisition and Investment Manager and was subsequently promoted to Senior Acquisition and Investment Manager in June 2022.
Peter Szabó completed their education in a chronological order. Peter attended the Austrian Matura program at Österreichische Schule Budapest - Budapesti Osztrák Iskola from 2007 to 2012, where they earned their Austrian Matura degree. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Administration and Hospitality Management from EHL, which they completed from 2012 to 2016. In 2015, Peter also obtained a Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.
In 2017, they further expanded their knowledge in the real estate industry by completing a short-term program in Real Estate Debt Finance at NYU School of Professional Studies. Currently, Peter is enrolled in a Masters in Finance program at London Business School, which they are expected to complete from 2021 to 2023.
