Erik Parsons Pe

Erik Parsons, PE, is an experienced electrical engineer currently serving as Electrical Engineer IV at City Light & Power, Inc. since August 2017, also previously holding the position of Electrical Engineer III. Prior to this role, Erik worked at Burns & McDonnell from January 2013 to August 2017 as a Staff Electrical Engineer, specializing in the detailed design of electrical substations for both distribution and transmission levels, with a focus on protection and control systems. Before that, Erik was employed at National Field Services, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer, where responsibilities included conducting short circuit and arc flash hazard analysis and protective device coordination. Erik obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas Christian University in 2011.
