Ross Thompson

Ross Thompson is an experienced hospitality professional, currently serving as the General Manager of a 200+ bedroom hotel with City Lodge Hotel Group since March 2019. Prior to this role, Ross held positions at Fairview Hotel Limited as General Manager and Senior Assistant General Manager from August 2017 to February 2019. Ross also gained valuable experience with City Lodge Hotel Group from July 2013 to July 2017 in various roles, including Senior Assistant General Manager and Junior Assistant General Manager. Early career experience includes working as a Front Office Coordinator and Reception/Relief Night Audit. Ross holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Honours in Tourism Management and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Tourism Management, both from the University of Pretoria, along with a Matric from Pretoria Boys High School.
