Jorge Becerra is a Sr. Partner & Advisor of Boston Consulting Group.
Jorge joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in 1988 and worked in the London and Madrid offices until 1995, when he was promoted to the role of Managing Director & Partner.
In 2003, he was promoted to Managing Director and Senior Partner and carried out numerous leadership positions in the firm on the regional level. He was in charge of offices, regions, and practices, including, among other responsibilities, the role of Chief Executive Officer of the offices of the Southern Cone, leader for Latin America of the Financial Services practice and the People, Leadership, and Organization practice. Most recently, he led the Digital Transformation, Family Business, and Social Impact (TSI) practices.
Jorge has spearheaded projects in Latin America and the US, assisting local and foreign national clients in the development of national and regional strategies, joint ventures, and the development of new business opportunities.
In his leadership role in BCG, Jorge has been invited as a keynote speaker, panelist, and moderator in countless international business forums and conferences in Miami and Latin America.
Jorge holds an MBA from the IESE Business School of the University of Navarra. He attended the Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Chicago, and earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina (1984).
Last year, Mr. Becerra participated in the Executive Coaching certification program for Senior Leaders, developed by BCG in Europe, in order to develop his current practice with CEOs and business leaders in Spain, the US, and Latin America.
