Dominik Hess

Dominik Hess currently serves as Leiter Ressort Einwohnerkontakte for the City of Adliswil since June 2023, overseeing various departments including the Betreibungs- und Stadtammannamt, Bibliothek, Einwohnerwesen, Kultur, Zentrale Dienste, and Zivilstandswesen. Prior to this role, Dominik held the position of Leiter Departementsstab Soziale Arbeit and Stv. Departementsleiter at OST – Ostschweizer Fachhochschule from August 2017 to May 2023, managing cross-department areas such as finance, international relations, marketing, and quality management. Dominik's earlier experience includes academic roles at Universität Zürich and teaching positions at Logos Lehrerteam AG, alongside strategic finance and human resources management at IMO. Dominik began professional training in public administration at Gemeinde Weinfelden and holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in History and French Studies from the University of Zurich and a CAS in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from ZHAW School of Management and Law.
