Megan Boeck is an experienced city planner currently leading community and economic development efforts for the City of Albert Lea since July 2019, with responsibilities that include developer assistance, project presentations, and zoning interpretation. Prior to this role, Megan served as Planner/Code Enforcement Technician for the City of Fairmont from March 2017 to July 2019, focusing on land development compliance, plan reviews, and ordinance updates. From January 2014 to March 2017, Megan was the Deputy City Clerk for the City of Wells, managing City Clerk's Office operations and supporting the City Administrator and City Council. Earlier, Megan held the position of Deputy City Clerk and Administrative & Accounting Assistant for the City of Winnebago from April 2008 to January 2014, where responsibilities ranged from financial reporting to clerical support. Megan Boeck holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
