Joseph Cotton, PE, CFM has over 14 years of experience in the field of engineering. Joseph is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Engineering for the City of Allen since October 2016. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager at RJN Group for 8 years, where they managed various projects related to water, waste water, storm water, and roadway design for municipal clients in Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Before their tenure at RJN Group, Joseph worked as a Project Manager at Kimley-Horn & Associates for 2 years.

Joseph Cotton, PE, CFM completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Arkansas from 1996 to 2000. Joseph then pursued higher education and obtained a Masters of Science degree in Transportation Engineering from the same university from 2000 to 2002.
