Daniel Steckel

Daniel Steckel has extensive experience in various management and supervisory roles within the City of Allentown. Currently serving as Fleet Services Bureau Manager and Facilities Manager since September 2022, Steckel previously held the position of Project Manager in the City of Allentown Community & Economic Development from November 2021 to August 2022. A significant tenure at Best Buy from July 2009 to April 2022 included the role of Asset Protection Specialist. Earlier positions within the City of Allentown involved serving as Chief Maintenance Supervisor and Claims Coordinator, overseeing maintenance activities and risk management for the city. Steckel's career began as a Maintenance Worker in January 1990, progressing over the years to a Park Maintenance Supervisor, where responsibilities included supervising park maintenance crews and ensuring the proper completion of park-related tasks.
