Matt Tuerk

Matt Tuerk currently serves as the Mayor of Allentown since January 2022. Prior to this role, Matt held multiple positions at the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp. from February 2013 to October 2020, culminating in the role of Vice President of Business Attraction, Retention and Expansion. Additional experience includes serving as Principal at Equitable Development LLC and as Assistant Director at Allentown Economic Development Corporation. Earlier career roles include positions in financial planning and analysis at Panamerican Management, Inc. and budget analysis at BellSouth Nicaragua. Matt holds an MBA in International Business from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business and a BS in International Business from the College of Charleston.
