Daniel Gray

Daniel Gray is an experienced professional in community and economic development, currently serving as the Community and Economic Development Director for the City of Amsterdam, New York since June 2023. Prior to this role, Daniel held multiple positions at the City of Schenectady over a decade, including Community Development Supervisor, Program Accounts Clerk, and Tax Enforcement Officer. Daniel's earlier experience includes roles at The Home Depot, Real Goods Solar, Inc., Silverleaf Resorts, and the Defense Logistics Agency, where assistance was provided in evaluating contracts for food supply to the armed services. Daniel holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science from Saint Joseph's University and an Advanced Merit Diploma from Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake CHS.
