Jose Barriga

Jose Barriga is a seasoned urban planner with extensive experience in municipal planning. Currently serving as Senior Planner for the City of Anaheim since February 2022, Barriga has previously held roles such as Associate Planner in both Anaheim and Brea, and Planner and Assistant Planner in Anaheim and Monrovia. With a solid foundation in community engagement and education, Barriga has worked to strengthen neighborhoods, promote resident participation, and foster community partnerships. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, complemented by earlier roles in community recreation and education.
