Deanna Williams

DeAnna Williams serves as the IT Director of Project Execution and User Experience at the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management since June 2023, focusing on digital communication initiatives and user experience management. Prior to this role, DeAnna spent over a decade at the City of Atlanta, where responsibilities included directing user experience and managing communications, with a progression from Communications Manager to Public Relations Manager. DeAnna also held the position of Communications Director at Fulton County Government for a year in 2011-2012 and worked as an IT Training Specialist/Public Information Officer for the City of Atlanta from 2004 to 2008. DeAnna holds a Master of Arts in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2019-2021) and a degree in Journalism, Advertising & Marketing from the same university (1998-2002).
