Michelle Crawford possesses extensive experience in auditing, with a current role as City Auditor for the City of Aurora since October 2014, previously holding positions as Senior Internal Auditor II and Internal Auditor. At the City of Aurora, Michelle emphasizes collaboration with employees to foster organizational improvements. Prior to this, Michelle worked as Senior Auditor I at the Office of the Missouri State Auditor, focusing on performance audits of local governments and grant audits. Early career experience includes an accounting internship at Legal Services of Southern Missouri, an internship with Wipfli LLP | JOSEPH EVE CPAs auditing Native American organizations, and a teller position at First Interstate Bank.
