Alison Lindburg

Alison Lindburg currently serves as the Director of Sustainability for the City of Aurora, IL, a position held since July 2025. Prior to this role, Alison was with the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance from March 2016 to July 2025, where responsibilities included serving as the Director of Building Codes & Policy, Senior Building Policy Manager, and Building Policy Manager. Earlier professional experience includes work at Fresh Energy from January 2010 to March 2016, progressing from Policy Associate in Energy Efficiency to Director of Buildings. Alison also worked as a Yoga Instructor at Art of Strength MN and held the position of Director of the Eco-Affordable Housing Program at Dovetail Partners, Inc. from March 2006 to January 2010, focused on sustainability and green building initiatives. Additional roles include Assistant Project Manager at Merrill Brink International and Special Projects Manager at The Lander Group, Inc. Alison holds a BA in Architecture and Spanish from the University of Minnesota.
