Joie Grandbois

Joie Grandbois is an experienced professional with a strong background in sustainability, project management, and the arts. Currently serving as Director of Sustainability at Historic New England since March 2023, Joie previously held the role of Sustainability Coordinator. Volunteer experience includes serving as a docent and tour guide at Portland's Eastern Cemetery with Spirits Alive. Joie's earlier positions include Research Associate at rbouvier consulting, where research focused on environmental economics, and Self Care Coordinator at Nouvelle Lune Business Solutions, providing support to entrepreneurs. A former paralegal at Music Law Firm, Joie also has a diverse creative background as a dance and movement instructor and manager of the performance art troupe, Dark Follies. Joie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Business Administration and Environmental Sustainability from the University of Southern Maine and an Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies from Andover College.
