David Gray

David Gray has extensive experience in public policy and community engagement, with recent roles including Director and Interim Homeless Strategy Officer for the City of Austin, focusing on initiatives to address homelessness. Previously, David served at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission as Acting Director for Community Benefits and Deputy Director for Community Benefits, managing community projects and promoting equity. At the Mayor's Office in Richmond, California, David acted as Chief of Staff, directing the public policy agenda and securing funding for community development, along with experience at the Louisiana Budget Project and earlier roles in Richmond's City Council. David holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed the Executive Leadership Institute at Georgetown University.
