Iliana Venegas

Iliana Venegas, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Human Resources Manager for the City of Austin since June 2023, following a diverse career in human resources management across various organizations. Prior roles include Human Resources Director at Snap Kitchen and Fair Winds LLC, and multiple positions at the City of Austin, Cox Media Group, and Time Warner Cable. Iliana has extensive experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, and organizational development, alongside a military background as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army, where leadership and human resources strategies were implemented. Iliana holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Tarleton State University.
