Miranda Reinhard

Miranda Reinhard is an experienced environmental scientist currently serving as a Senior Environmental Scientist at the City of Austin since January 2021, specializing as a Wetland Biologist Reviewer and Floodplain Modification Reviewer. Prior experience includes roles as a Staff Scientist and Field Environmental Scientist at Terracon from June 2014 to December 2020, and a Student Worker at the Texas A&M Soil Characterization Laboratory, where analytical skills in soil testing and data management were developed. Miranda also held an internship as a Social Justice Outreach Specialist at the Texas A&M Office of Sustainability, showcasing skills in organizing and facilitating sustainability initiatives. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the Texas A&M Department of Sociology and an Office Assistant at Superior Crude Gathering, Inc. Miranda holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors distinction from Texas A&M University, having double majored in Bioenvironmental Sciences and Plant and Environmental Soil Science, with a minor in Sociology.
