Joanna Valenzuela

Joanna Valenzuela currently serves as the Elected City Treasurer for the City of Baldwin Park since July 2021, managing the city's investments and financial policies in accordance with local regulations. Prior to this role, Joanna held positions including Planning Commissioner for Baldwin Park, Patient Care Coordinator at HearUSA, and Field Representative for the California State Assembly, where representation included multiple cities. Joanna's contributions to the California Democratic Party as an Elected Delegate and experience as an Electoral Field Manager at CHIRLA further demonstrate a commitment to community engagement and public service. Educationally, Joanna holds an Associate of Arts degree in Fashion Marketing and Business Development from The Art Institutes and has prior studies at Mt. San Antonio College.
