Deidre Weems has extensive experience in emergency medical services, currently serving as an EMS Captain for the City of Baltimore since December 1996. In addition to this role, Deidre served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Baltimore for a brief period in 2015. Deidre’s educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Leadership for Changing Populations from Notre Dame of Maryland University, a Master of Science in Human Service Administration from the University of Baltimore, a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Coppin State University, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician from Baltimore City Community College. Deidre’s education began at Baltimore City College, where foundational studies were completed from 1984 to 1988.
