Gretchen Schaefer currently serves as an Instructional Technologist at Husson University since February 2007, where collaboration with faculty on technology integration in teaching is a primary focus, alongside teaching courses in the School of Education. Since November 2018, Gretchen has been a City Council Member for the City of Bangor. Previous experience includes working as a Graduate Assistant in the College of Education & Human Development at the University of Maine, a 7/8 Multiage Teacher at Glenburn School, and serving as a Volunteer Tech Teacher with AmeriCorps Project GO@LS. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Husson University, a Master's in Instructional Technology from the University of Maine, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Maine. Additionally, an Associate of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences was earned at the University of Maine at Augusta.
